Hi, I’m Gregory Anne,
but please, call me Greg

Yes, that’s my real name.

I was born on Saint Gregory’s Day to Catholic parents, so you could say the name was divinely assigned — gender expectations notwithstanding.

Rebellious Wellness Lifestyle exists because I believe standing for your health in today’s world is an act of rebellion.

Not loud rebellion.
Not performative rebellion.

But the quiet, daily rebellion of asking better questions in a system shaped by Big Food, Big Pharma, and outdated medical narratives that too often ignore nuance, individuality, and lived experience.

Why Rebellious?

By nature, I’m a rule-breaker — and I encourage my clients to be discerning ones too.

Many “health rules” are created or sustained by financial incentives, institutional inertia, or science that hasn’t kept pace with new discoveries.

One of the most important of those discoveries?

Your genes are not your health destiny.

Current research suggests genetics account for only about 10–20% of how we age.

The rest is shaped by how we live — how we eat, move, think, recover, connect, and care for ourselves over time.

That means you have more influence than you’ve been led to believe.

And choices.

Proof that my relationship
with food started early

“How does she work? She has never hit me head-on with confrontation – not her nature. What consistently did was show me the gap between what I said I wanted and what my actions would produce. She has a great capacity to listen with intelligence and at great depth. She spoke for my integrity until I could find my way back.”

– Jeannette Lewis

Who I Work With

The women I work with are engaged in life.
They care about how they feel and how they live.

They want to avoid an older age defined by preventable disease, pain, or disconnection — and they’re willing to look honestly at habits, beliefs, and stories that may no longer serve them.

Some are navigating chronic pain, metabolic issues, low energy, or a recent diagnosis.
Others feel fine — but know they want more health span, not just lifespan.

Almost all of them want the same thing:

To feel good in their bodies.
To trust themselves again.
To age without shrinking.

And yes — to look good too. Because feeling well and expressing yourself fully are not shallow goals. They’re human ones.

My Philosophy on Health (and Life)

I don’t believe in deprivation.
I do believe in commitment.

I’m an 80/20 person. Some days my routine is exemplary. Other days involve chicken wings.

Food matters. Movement matters. Sleep matters.
So does pleasure, self-expression, and sustainability.

Perfect routines don’t last.
Sustainable ones do.

One of my foundational principles is simple:
Test. Don’t guess.

Curiosity beats compliance every time.

“Gregory is gifted with an ability to get right to the heart of things. She has helped me gain a better understanding of “how I work” so that I could reach my weight loss and self-care goals.”

The Big Idea That Guides My Work

Everything is food.

Every bite we take.
Every thought we think.
Every habit we practice.
Every relationship we keep.

They are either investments in future health —
or debts we eventually have to repay.

This isn’t about fear.
It’s about awareness.

And choice.

Rebellious Wellness exists to help you arm yourself with better information, clearer thinking, and real choices — so you can live fully now and age well later.

I hope you’ll join me on the podcast and through my writing. This is a long conversation — and a meaningful one.

The one big idea I bring to my work — and guides my day to day — is…
